Why it all Started

In 2020, during lockdown, we welomed our twin boys into the world. As wonderful as motherhood is I started to need something for "me" and I began sewing again.

Shopping for boys clothes i was fed up of the lack of choice and wanted to be able to match the boys whilst keeping their individuality.  The solution.... Make my own!

Why the name?

I've never been the argumentative type (my husband may disagree!) and always hated conflict.

Then, when my boys were born, something changed in me. I found I had an innner 'Mumma bear' that was ready to stand up and roar when needed!

'Cubs' came about because of the boys; they also like to play wrestle like cubs...

...and so, the name Mumma & Cubs was born.

Whats my Ethos?

Pretty simple really....Beautiful clothes made with a focus on quality and individuality.

I want you to love my products as much as I do. I want you to use them, treasure them, pass them on to siblings or friends.

It's not about churning out fast fashion, it's about finding designs and designers I love, the highest quality fabric and getting to know my customers and their littles ones.
